How long has he been losing weight? When my guy started falling over when he
walked, I assumed he might have insulinoma. Took him to the vet and found out I was
right. However, he wasn't running a high temp (at least that I was aware of). Sounds
like your guy could be dehydrated as well? There could be several reasons for weight
loss and high temp such as - IBD, heliobactor, flu, some other infection (maybe ECE)...I
think there are too many unknowns. I am so sorry for your little guy. Hopefully
someone else will post and give more ideas for you to discuss with your vet. It appears
that there are very knowledgable people in this group. I wish I had more information
to help you. Take care - your fuzzy will be in my prayers...
