There is also the consideration that in countries where antibiotics are regularly used on a normal basis instead of just when an infection hits in food animals the number of antibiotic resistant infections is higher than in countries where that doesn't happen. Some countries instead have other approaches to help resist disease. So, the risk of raw egg dietary infections that can not be comfortably treated is higher in places like the U.S. where the animals are given large amounts of antibiotics just regularly.
