I am sorry he is gone.
What was wrong with him?
It had sounded like he might just have had untreated insulinoma which responds well to some approaches such as Prednisolone, sometimes Diazoxide, sometimes surgery. A person would not give a mercy shot to a ferret with insulinoma until treatment is tried, though, since most do well with treatment.
So, what turned out to be the actual problem?
