Subject: [ferrethealth] worried about my ferret

I have two ferrets that were given to me about a year ago...the person that=
had them said they were 2 years old, though i believe they are a lil older=
than that. my female of late has been acting very strange and is worrying =
me alot. she shivers failry often and doesnt seem to have much energy, she =
has random head spazasms and at times looks like she has a problem moving h=
er back legs(she just drags them and when she tries to use them she looses =
balance) shes seems to want to be alone all the time (she hides under the c=
age when ever she can know) and doesnt want to play hardly at all, this wor=
ries me cuz i know most animals hide when there about to die..i know i shou=
ld take her to the vet but until today i couldnt find a vet worth adamn for=
ferrets, and oney wise i cant afford it (ran into some hard times) im stil=
l trying my best to have enough to take her but i was wondering if anyone k=
new what this might be signs of..i talked with another ferret owner today a=
nd she said that from what o told her it doesnt look good. any help would b=
e gravly welcomed
