Insulinoma is a strong possibility -- but not the only one -- for this ferret.
Don't assume that it is insulinoma, though, because some other options need totally different approaches.
A CBC and Chemistry Panel is one of the first steps your vet will take.

Again, this may not be insulinoma, but it is certainly a possibility with those symptoms.
