have you been giving 1ml kaopactate it helps. if the kidneys are failing its hard. what does stool look like slimmy /black/ or as you said occasional my 9 year old rescue he has loose/slimmy I give him kaopactate 2/3 days only once a day it goes away for month or more rear legs when they are not active they get apathy rub legs it will help greatly think when you just lay in bed things don't fell good muscles etc. also take dry food moist it up tell oatmeal looking then add baby food so ferret will taste its regular food/add ferrettone to dry to intise feeding on its own.
