My ferret Sally always slept like this from 8 wks old, I could pick her up without waking her.She developed insulinoma at 5 1/2 y/o (I don't think there is any connection).
My newest ferret Sugar 1 y/o, will wake if you so much as breathe near her cage.
Sue, now 5 y/o, is between the these two examples.
I dont think there is anything to worry about.
