Birdseed (ground hamburger) like lumpiness to stools is from the small intestine being too compromised to handle fats well so they emerge as fat balls. That can be seen with several things, but certainly ECE is common cause of it.

I can understand the multiple searches for coccidia; it can be hard to find and the blooms can cause the red blood seen. Has Albon been tried just in case to see if it makes a difference?

Such frank blood can also be seen with colitis secondary to ECE. When we had ECE here one of ours had a terrible battle with secondary colitis but steroids helped him hugely.

I suspect that list members may also have some other alternatives for you to consider.
