Subject: [ferrethealth] Albon and Amoxy/Biaxin/Carafate
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

My little ones continue to have problems. They have been on variations of the old protocol for helicobacter (Amox/Metro, Metro/Baytril) for aprox 4 weeks now. The vet still beleives helicobactor remains as the cause and is switching us to the new protocol (Amoxy/Biaxin/Carafate) today.

Several people have suggested, that dispite three clear fecal floats, that coccidia may be the cause. Would it also be safe to give them Albon along with the Amoxy/Biaxin/Carafate?

Thanks
