I am not a vet. Have you considered that you may have bedbugs. Search
the rims of your matresses and if you find anything, bottle it up and
take it to either your ag agent or to a good exterminater for
identification and a treatment. For the ferrets, I'd aply Revolution, a
whole cat dose per ferret.
