We just had Peanut back to the vet, she hasn't had a bowel movement in almost
36 hours, but the vet still refuses to do surgery. He says what is going on
with the distended abdomen is due to her liver problem, which is going to take
months to heal. He says she got into somekind of posion (sp).

**With the previous history of sudden abdominal distention, vomiting, scant
and now no bowel movements, and gas on abdominal x-rays, blockage is going to
be very high on my list of possibilities. My recommendation would be to seek a
second opinion.**
