Given these ranges in glucose, does anyone have any recommendations? Is it
time to start her on pred, or check her glucose again soon? How does one proceed
with a borderline case like this? Could the arrhythmia be the reason for
lethargy? Do you treat an arrhythmia and if so, how? "Good" ferret vets are hard
to come by here in MN (at least in my experience), so any advice is greatly
appreciated. Thanks!
**You've got a pretty wide glucose range here - 77 to me is borderline, but
94 is normal. I'd consider keeping a close eye on her sugar levels. The
arrhythmia certainly could cause lethargy - she should have her heart evaluated by
a cardiologist. There are many different type of /causes of arrhythmia, and
you need to know what you're dealing with before any treatment can be done.**
