Yes its in a different room but one they can walk into if they choose.
Plus its up on the counter they are on the floor.
Its not that bright.

My babies have many dark areas to snooze in.
One is the bath tub at night ,lol
I made something they climb to get in it,cuddle up in a sheet, and sleep.
Its cool especially in summer.
Plus a big sleeping box.
We are night shifers so there are plenty of dark areas.

Jody, this is in a different room than the ferrets?

Remember that the blue components in lights are the worst for reducing the body's
own natural melatonin production (and green is second worst, whereas amber is
safest for least reduction of the body's own natural melatonin production if light
can't be avoided) so you don't want to have this in the same room as the ferrets
because doing so might worsen their adrenal growth risk. ( Also, remember that
they always need to have plenty of really dark places to go to at any time for rest or
sleeping, so things like den boxes, sleeping boxes, sleeping sacks, cage covers,
dark covers over the bases of pieces of furniture that they like to sleep under, etc.
are important.)
