There is no non surgical treatment that will work for very long. There is a
fairly new surgical treatment. An experienced vet can take half of the
pancreas out instead of just removing the tumors on it ( which will always
come back). The partial pancreanectomy has increased the ferrets life span
by four years. It is well worth the money.
