Subject: [ferrethealth] re:new insulinoma treatments
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com
Thank you to everyone who's responded.
Please excuse the tone of this email. I am just really exhausted from taking care of all of my geriatric animals.
Anyway, Komay hates baby food and she absolutely does not like duck soup. Plus, I really do not have time in the morning to make and to try to give her some duck soup and give my dog and cat their medicines because I have to get up really early in the morning to go to work. Although I REALLY do wish I could find some way to do it all.
Does anyone know of anyway I can store duck soup so it will be fresh in the morning?
Also, the vet that we go to has only done one other surgery for insulinoma...2 years ago! There are no other vets in my area who will even look at ferrets.
Right now, the vet is trying to speak to someone at Tufts about her and see what the right course of treatment is for her.
Has anyone ever used and know what Azium is? When one of my last ferrets had insulinoma the vet I used to go to prescribed this. It did work so I am just wondering if it would be something that may work on Komay.
Again, Thank you for any and all help,
Sheryl
