I'm not a vet, but I recently had a similar experience with my own Peanut.
She was full of gas as well and couldn't keep anything down because of the
blockage(s) and gas. I'm sure the more experienced ferret moms and dads,
and the vets on this list, will elaborate/give more information, but what
you're describing is the exact same things that were happening to my Peanut,
including the liver values being WAY off.

Now I could be wrong, but from all I've read and have been told the barium
stops at the point where the blockage is.....

Liver values, gas in the stomach.... well, when they did the surgery they
found TWO blockages. She did pass that same night when she was alone and
recovering because she aspirated vomit. But... had it not been for that,
the surgery would have saved her life.

IMHO, she's blocked, she needs fluids, she needs surgery. Again ONLY my
humble opinion as a non-vet... a ferret owner who VERY recently went through
the same with my own little Peanut.

Keeping your little one in my thoughts and prayers.

Ella
