Subject: Re: [ferrethealth] ferret with that weird poo

My ferret Snowy recently had an episode of green stool. The Dr tested her
stool but everything came out fine. He prescribed her Metronidazole 100 mg,
which turned her stool to a yellow green and made it very stinky. He also
suggested to have her eat wet food, she refused to so we put her on Iams kitten
food which helped her digest better. After two weeks things were back to normal.
She still has episodes of yellowish stool but I think it depends on the
treats we give her upseting her stomach. Hope this helps...

Christine
