It is necessary to find out WHY there is such a large amount of abdominal fluid.

First, as to the blood testing: instead of just a CBC she needs a CBC WITH CHEMISTRY PANEL.

Usually heart disease is the cause, but other causes can include things like kidney disease, or lymphoma. What is the cause this time?

Is the fluid itself is such large amounts that it is impairing intestinal motion, or is there perhaps something like intestinal lymphoma?

The only way to get an answer is to have the right tests done.

Only fluid is coming off when the vet drains, right? No signs of peritonitis due to a blockage that perforated the intestine?
