In response to Tracy Whitford's question about small animal
ultrasounds:
I am fortunate in living near an animal hospital that is often
at the forefront of animal veterinary technology, so my vet,
who is employed at that hospital, has access to ultrasound
equipment suitable for small animals, and the ultrasound
technicians have a lot of experience imaging all sorts of
critters.
