Sandy:

Definitely get his glucose checked for insulinoma.
Insulinoma will cause weight loss, wobbly hind legs, decrease appetite, and lethargic behavior. By giving him the ferritone and ferretvite you're raising his glucose level and that's why he feels better.
On the positive side it's treatable with Pred. There are a lot of great articles on the web about insulinoma that will explain it better than I can.

Good Luck!

He is eating, not as often as I would like, and drinking, poops seem fine. I have given him some duck soup and he seemed to perk up a bit after some tone and ferretvite. He ran around a little, but just doesnt seem himself. I am calling my vet in the morning to get him checked out. Any suggestions in the meantime??
