Subject: [ferrethealth] Necropsy - blood in spinal cord fluid
This is a quick question if anyone had ever experienced this before. A little ferret came into the shelter (age 70) with a chordoma and head tilt. Our vet thought it was probably a) a stroke b) a brain tumor or spinal cord tumor. Upon necropsy she had a lot of blood in her spinal cord fluid. She was put down because she was paralyzed in the back half and looked like she was in severe pain. Anyone seen this before in a necropsy?
