Subject: [ferrethealth] diarrhea treatment

I was looking at one of my pet magazines when I came across something that claims to work fast on non-infectious diarrhea. It says that it is for cats, dogs, puppies, kittens, birds, small animals, and ferrets. It contains Kaolin and citrus pectin. This product claims to relieve irritation, discomfort,and cramping and is also good for gastro-enteritis.
Does anyone know if these ingredients will in fact give a ferret relief from diarrhea?
Because I don't know if it's ok to post the name of the company on this group, if anyone wants to know where to get it you can contact me off list.
