A blood glucose in the 60s without fasting and in the 40s with fasting just screams insulinoma to me. Of course, there are also far less common causes of extreme low blood sugar, but they tend to present more extremely. To me this looks like a ferret who has partly adjusted to gradually decreasing blood sugar but whose body can no longer adjust.
