Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: ferret with diarrhea - going on 4 weeks now

I've had both ferrets for the same amount of time - 4 years now.
I do periodically go to the local pet store to ensure the ferrets there are doing well (food, water, clean environment etc), but I didn't play with them nor have I played with any other ferrets in the recent past.
We have finished 2 weeks of Clavamox and are now trying Pred in case it's IBD. So far she has had two doses of Pred and no negative side effects (ie increased or worse diarrhea).
It's possible it's ECE, however she has had no vomiting and most of her diarrhea is not green, it's brown although she has had some that is green and runny.
