Yes, I really goofed up. There I was advising someone to not accept one set of assumptions and I went and accepted another incorrect part of it myself. Mea culpa.
Thank you both for showing all of us that it certainly should not be assumed that nutritional education of vets is restricted to overt medical concerns. I'd eat my hat but first I need to pry my foot out of my mouth.
