Hi Julie and Sukie,
The small amount of preservatives in Ferretone should not
cause any problems.
Yes, ferretone does have omega-6 fatty acids in it, so it may
make itchy skin worse. Omega-3 fatty acids (fish oil, flax seed oil)
would help to reduce the itchiness and inflammation of the skin.
