Subject: [ferrethealth] Two schools on ADV testing in DVM community?
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

I had an interesting thing happen today. While I was talking on the phone to my vet on an unrelated matter I ask her what kind of ADV testing she did and now much it would cost.

She replied that she did not do testing for ADV and that it was not necessary. When I expressed a bit of surprised she said that this was consistent with some super guru DVM (I don't want to name a name him/her, as I may have misunderstood something, but the name is reasonably well know)

Is there conflicting views on ADV testing within the DVM community?

While I had come to accept the divergency "facts" as presented by the two layman position... which are incompatable with each other) I did not expect to find that the profesional were simalarly situated. This is science, right?

Can someone explane? please!!!:??
