I do not know about shelf life after the product has been used. If you are
using a sterilized needle each time you draw from the bag, I would guess you
could use the bag until the expiration date. As far as needles are
concerned, you can use practically any size although I have found 'butterfly' needles
to work the best as they allow for squirmage!
