Subject: [ferrethealth] sick ferret... that's why i'm here...lol

hello everyone. advice is needed.. female ferret 2yrs old.she had fleas and ear mites and is now beeing cleaned (my fault, got real busy at work, and won't let that happen again). she has massive weight loss but is active and she eats and then diarrea. took to vet and blood work is as follows.. low sugar, and other readings are also low.. could be from the weight loss. doctor put her on antibotic called chloramphenicol palmatateloz with directions. here is the question.. she eats and diarrea looks better but her vulva is swelling and leaking fluids. I put hold on this antibotic temporarily to see if medication is the cause. will call vet tomorrow anyway. any suggestions or advice???
