Subject: [ferrethealth] ferret eating habits

I have an eight month old ferret who wants to eat only chunked up chicken (cooked) and Gerber's baby food. I've tried making the chicken pureed with kibble and adding it gradually to the baby food. No deal. I have purchased ten different types of kibble so far and he won't eat any of it. As a baby he was on a mixture of kibbles (which I duplicated exactly when I got him) and the chicken. He was also still with his mom but since he was three months old I don't imagine he was still nursing. Is this diet okay for him?
Thanks,
Laurel
