Subject: [ferrethealth] sick ferret question 2

hello again. i posted last week about underweight and diarrhea and not eating alot ferret. she is being tested for helobacter. my vet mentioned about multiple medicines including pepto bismo. is there a home remedy i can use to aid in the healing without using alot of medication ( not elimating meds of course). just looking to helpmy girl with healthy ways instead of alot of meds. she is on a very strong antibiotic now and was explained of the side affects. my vet is recommending another ferret vet to do a biospy if necesssary. just looking for advice from others who possibly had similiar experiences with this problem.
