I am a shelter worker, not a vet.
It is possible that your ferret may have a pancreatic
tumor though not necessarily insulinoma. Though they
present much the same in symptom.
There have been some cases I am aware of that was the
case. Unfortunately and ultrasound is the most common
way to try and identify that pancreatic lesion.
