I may need to correct my previous response. I have tried to find my old
correspondence with the parties involved and could not find the name of the
corporation that actually manufacturers the implants.
I checked out the melatek.net web site and noticed they are actually selling
through two veterinary distributors now. That is a slight plus, but does
not relieve the experience I have had in trying to set up an arrangement to
distribute to our shelters that are crippled by expenses and low donations.
I'll let you know if I find more.

There is a special arrangement *FOR SHELTERS ONLY* because it is subsidized by
donations to two charities (SOS and IFC) specifically to help shelters, which does
help reduce the costs for shelters, and links to that are still on the Melatek site.
