Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: Ketamine (offshoot topic from Pre-euthanasia - Telazol or Torb?)

Most don't, but I have heard of some who still do, so perhaps the topic may make a few people think twice. It hasn't come up in some time.

I am curious is the frightening hallucination side effect may take place for no reason more than curiosity.

Steve and I had to have some ferrets have surgery ages ago before gas was standardly used. It used to often be hard to get them to come out of being physically depressed by the injected anesthesia and getting back their body temperature could be difficult.
