Isoflurane has less affect on heart muscle

Tests with sevoflurane show that there is even less affect on heart muscle than isoflurane or halothane

and a cutionary note, isoflurane affects blood chemistry while anaethetised so not recommended when taking blood samples <because it can temporarily depress the red blood cell values in ferrets and the hematocrit can drop up to 40%.>
