Subject: [ferrethealth] losing a mate and what to do to make ferret happy?

I had a pair of ferrets both fixed. Not brother and sister or anything. I lost my female to weather changing. My male seems to be looking for the female and very unsteady with the situation. What can I do to make him happy while I try to find a new mate for him. I don't wish to lose him from sorrow.
