my vet uses a quick stick while I hold my little one. after that he quickly
gets sleepy and then the vet gives him a massive overdose and he never wakes
up. I hold him and the vet comes in when it's over, checks his heart and I
take him home for the last time. I've never had a bad experience this way. I
usually have them lick some ferretone while the first stick is happening.
Sometimes they are already unconscious and this just deepens it until they
get their final dose. I've had the heart sticks done too but I don't like
them as well.
