I hate having to ask this, because it only means one thing for my little one.
However, I need to know which is best. The vet I plan to take her to doesn't
have or use Telazol but does have Torb. Masking her with Iso was suggested but
she has always hated the experience and probably the smell, so I don't want
it done that way. There are posts in the archives from vets that prefer to use
Telazol, which is why I'm asking if Torb will work just as well.
**This has likely been answered (the drawback to being on digest), but I use
Telazol for almost all of my euthanasias. It is a small volume, does not seem
to cause them much distress, if any, when injected (and even if they do show
a little pain from it, it seems to dissipate within a few seconds), allows
them to drift to sleep in the comfort and safety of loving arms, and allows the
final injection to be given without any pain or fear at all. I do not think
that torb would have nearly the desired effect.**
