Before removing any canines, I would do a dseries of dental xrays and
only remove if the root is gone or infected. I have one girl here who
had her canines removed because of severe infection from breaking her
teeth by jumping off high cabinet. She was and is fine, but I feed her
by hand 2 x a day as she has a malformed jaw because of the extractions
