Subject: [ferrethealth] Circle shaped sores

Just a note here, I had a male in for surgery some years ago and he came
home fine, but within a few days had developed circle shaped marks. I
suspected that someone didn't disinfect the clippers they shaved him with,
as it looked just like ringworm. Discussed this with the Dr. who said at
the time that ferrets don't get ringworm, but if thats what I think it is,
I could treat with over the counter athletes foot cream. This is just what
i did, and all cleared up fine. Joan
