I am fostering an old guy (est 8 yoa) for a shelter, who received no treatment for advanced adrenal disease and he had developed UTI's due to an enlarged prostate. He is currently on Lupron, Melatonin, Propecia, and Saw Palmetto. So far the combination has been very successful in relieving his problems urinating which was the most important thing since he has to be on lasix twice a day for a heart condition. He still hasn't grown any hair but he doesn't mind and neither do we. As for the saw palmetto helping I am not sure but it is not hurting so I will stick with it.
