Subject: [ferrethealth] Heart still beating after euthanasia
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

Does anyone know if this is normal? It's something I wish I didn't have to ask, but I need to know. I was told the heart was still beating because it was sick/damaged and not getting the signal (in a timely manner) to stop beating. Is this true? I don't think my little one felt anything (I sure hope she didn't) because she got a sedative before being masked with Iso, then another injection of sedative and then the heart stick.

Thanks.
