Talk to your vet about using Procrit (Epoetin alfa). This drug increases red blood cell production.
I never used it in a ferret with Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia, but I did use it in one that was in renal failure. His PCV went from 19% to 45%. I have no idea if it would work as well with IMHA but it is worth finding out.
