Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: Discomfort passing stool
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

Julie,

Bear had discomfort and problems passing stool but I don't remember if he had any eating issues. That was at the same time as he had the osteoma on the side of his head and was in some pain with his eye.

When he went in for the enuclation of his eye we had the vet check out his behind as well d/t to his discomfort pooping. There was a mass there, not easily detectable by palpation or sight for that matter and it fell apart as he tried to remove it. Bear showed really no signs of anything in the anal gland region except discomfort pooping and a small lump so I'm thinking the mass was located deep inside his body rather than close to the surface. Just a thought.

Earlicks and toebitings to all,

Trish
