My dog Sunshine was bit last December by what is thought to have been a
Brown Recluse.
We spent several days at UC Davis where he was seen by a specialist vet from
Colorado that said the amount of damage *must* have been from a BR bite.
It took weeks of intensive care, 5 months of daily wet to dry bandage
changes, and 5 surgeries to repair the damage.
Sunshine is a Golden retriever, and lost nearly all the tissue on his chest,
belly, right front leg and right under thigh.
Very nasty spider.
