He might find a foreign body. Some seeds have the ability to lodge in
place and just stay there. Or he might find a growth like a polyp which
would be very annoying. I recently read a post from an owner who had
symptoms much like yours. It took quite a bit of searching to find a vet
who had a thin enough endoscope to fit up a ferret's nose, but give it a
try.
