Sukie, do you know if there was a single causative organism in any of the cases?
I'm never surprised to see clusters or multiples of disorders happening in households because all of those ferrets are usually kept in the same way. ie same diet, exposure to light, caging etc.
IBD seems to be a newish diagnosis and it makes me wonder if it is an increasing disease or an increasing diagnosis.
