Our ferret Bailey went to the vet today.
He had a bump grow on his head it went down some and stopped shrinking.
So as soon as the vet felt it ,he said i know what this is...Its rare, but its a
bone mass?
Xrays showed he was right.Looks like a pea sitting on his head.He said its rare but in
the last few weeks this is the third one he's seen...Makes me wonder if somethings up.
Anyhoo the mass grows and turns into bone and he has to use like a bone saw type
thing to remove it.
He said they are usually benign. But I was just curious..with so many things that
happen to ferrets, this is just something else I've never heard of before.
And no he didnt give it a name (the bone mass).
