Subject: [ferrethealth] Insulinoma

Is there anything else I can do for my 5 year old. He had his first insulinoma surgery 3 yrs ago and a second about a 2 years ago, he has been on prednisolone since after the first surgery. recently I tried giving diazoxide without good results. He has loss most of his muscle tone and has gained 1/2 lb in 3 months which puts him at about 4 1/2 lbs. He cant walk on the tile floor without his back legs sliding out from under him. He still has a good appetite but he has no energy and he just looks sad in his eyes. He is losing his hair now too, possible adrenal gland ? What wouold you do for him now if he were your baby ?
