Subject: [ferrethealth] Adrenal surgery stitch

I called the vet and they said to remove the stitch. I hadn't noticed it because she had been glued shut. So they said to take it out. Okay, I cut the knot and that came off, along with some other line, but then one line still is inside her. I pulled gently and it is obviously not supposed to come out, as almost half an inch came out and then went taut.
Soo...
These are the only notes I have:
"Closed with 2/0 mono in linea and sq, glue in skin."
So, the vet was wrong when I called and asked if I should take the stitch out??? What do I do now....I asked for the surgeon to call me back since obviously I'm just a tad upset that the vet told me to take it out after they looked up the records....
